FAQ
General FAQ
*PERISH is a division of the non-profit company, Haven of Kindred Spirits,
Inc.
*PERISH strives to bring professionalism and confidentiality to each
investigation
*Information gathering involves the use of photography (digital, Polaroid,
and 35mm film), electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) recording (analog
& digital), and video recording (digital). Digital recordings will
be controlled by non-networked computer systems. We also use microwave
radiation detectors, electromagnetic field detectors (EMF). See our
equipment list HERE.
*Team members are responsible for manually logging any events/experiences
through their portion of the investigation. All information is stored
temporarily on portable hard drives while away from our office and stored
permanently on a dedicated hard drive at our corporate office. All information,
evidence, etc. becomes property of Haven/PERISH and we retain all rights
to said information, evidence, etc. Individual members do not retain
private rights and investigation locations retain use rights with Haven
permission.
*Pre-investigations and formal investigations are done scientifically.
This means we do not use such things as Ouija boards, spirit communication,
dowsing rods, etc. as part of the investigations. If such mediums do
come in to play, they are done separate and not part of the formal investigation.

later study and compare our notes with staff reported events. This way
our mind is free of predetermination. Any information gathered from
staff requires permission to use their likeness, voice, and/or given
